Saw an Instagram post today that claimed the world is drowning in “content” and needs less of it. The word does seem like the decadent analogue of what we used to call art. I agree: The world needs less content and more art, mystery, indeterminateness, experimental writing, unapologetic domain crossing, dethroning of certain shibboleths, and non-corporatized weirdness.
